Mad props to J.C. Romero for getting us out of the 8th inning, and pitching like the great set-up guy he's supposed to be, but Batgirl still feels emotionally unbalanced from Tuesday's game. She can't help it. She holds a grudge. The B.O.D.S.H.C. never claimed to be perfect, just omnipotent. Anyway, in addition to clutch pitching, this 1-0 game was reliant on great defense—like, say, Torii Hunter's perfect throw to get out Scott Spiezio at home in the 7th. That makes us forgive an 0-4 day at the plate, and makes you, Torii, the Boyfriend of the Day.
