Oh, wow…I didn't prepare a speech! Oh, there are so many people to thank. First of all, I'd like to thank Jeb's boyfriend, Corey Koskie, for turning not one, but two doubles into outs in the seventh with his hockey-stylin's. Next, I'd like to thank my own boyfriend, Joe Mauer, for the two most productive ground-outs of the year. And Torii Hunter for stealing third and scoring the tying run. And, oh, Michael Cuddyer for your 3-2 game-winning pinch-hit single. And Brad Radke for another impeccable outing, and Juan Rincon for pitching like the stopper we need for two innings. But most of all, I'd like to thank Jacque Jones. I can't even express how much he meant to this game. Jacque has had a lot of adversity of late, you know with the whole massive and horrific batting slump thing. And overcame all that to win the game for us with smarts and small ball. In the seventh, he executed a perfect bunt to send Torii Hunter to 2nd for what would be the game-tying run. Then in the ninth he led off with a single against a lefty, then executed the running part of the hit-and-run beautifully, scoring from second on Cuddyer's soft single.
